With a voice that's been described as sandpaper-sweet, whiskey-soaked and "Springsteen-ish", Truckstop Coffee's frontman and songwriter Pete Stein delivers a more intimate version of the band's alt-country/americana rock n' roll. His songs range from upbeat foot-stompers to lonesome ballads full of vivid imagery, heartache and grit. If the American landscape is his palette, a rambler's heart is his brush, and he paints his canvass in pictures of hope, futility, love and loss...with the occasional drinking song and murder ballad thrown in for good measure.

Angela Perley & The Howlin' Moons formed in 2009 around singer-songwriter Angela Perley. The group consists of Chris Connor, Nate Hollman, Billy Zehnale, and Tyler Austin. Perley's music is nostalgic and heavily influenced by The Carter Family, Patsy Cline, Wanda Jackson, and Loretta Lynn, but Perley's song delivery is unique in the way she manipulates words and phrasings. Many songs contain themes of the moon, love, railroads, and death, and Perley often writes through different characters. The Howlin' Moons' live shows are high energy Americana-tumble- and-roll and are always captivating and authentic.

These folks are from Birmingham, AL, and play some great singalong country blues 'bout the devil, whiskey, and hanging out at last call. When they unpack their gear you can check their washboard, fiddle, dobro, banjo and electric guitars ... here's the roll call: Sarah Green (The Sunday Lovers, The Good Neighbors, and formerly of the Contraband) holds down duties as vocalist, drummer, and band parole officer. Handling the task of providing the soul and wisdom that only he can, Heath Green's duties include vocals, piano, harmonica, and bartender. Next comes the incomparable Jay Taylor on the upright bass guitar, Susan Nuckols (the Contraband, Blue Galaxy, Wayne Newton, Neil Diamond, and God knows who else) on the fiddle, and the sonic insanity of Adam Guthrie (PAIN, The Wayne Mills Band and the Starmakers) and his ukulele. This'll be totally nuts!
