These Soulbillies connected in the Cincy Music scene with the goal to Create and Perform New and Interesting Rock music with a Appalachian bent! Singer Matt Bischoff (Moonbow) & Multi Instrumentalist David McElfresh (Hank 3/Lethal/Moonbow) co writers in Moonwow share a mutual interest and passion in acoustic, scaled down music. This style led to approaching Bassist/Multi Instrumentalist Mike Reeder of(Chalk Eye/Mudpies/LOVECRUSH88) and Chris Mcfarland Multi percussionist of (Arcadian Bliss) to round out what is now Soulgroup. We started recording December 2017 in Davids living room, Chris's Basement, and Reeders jam space. After the tracks were recorded, we sent off to Jason Groves at Sneak Attack in Lexington, KY which is a good friend of ours and who has been a big part in the 2 full length Moonbow records to Mix and Master the EP.
