Visalia Gold is Zach McKinley and Chelsey Parker — two Kentuckians who grew up on different sides of the state and found common ground in sound. Their songs ride the line between truth and tall tale, woven with fiddle, raw lyricism, and the spirit of adventure. In their storytelling, fire meets ice — Chelsey leaning toward the wild and untamed, Zach toward depth and detail. It’s part bluegrass, part rock, all rooted in the kind of Americana that comes from living it.
Caileen Tallant is a Texas-born singer-songwriter, composer, and pianist now based in Newport, Kentucky. Her music weaves her classical training with the storytelling spirit of her Texas roots. Her debut single, “Get It Right,” earned placement on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Country and All New Country playlists in May 2024. That same year, she opened for Gabby Barrett at the Merchants & Music Festival and joined touring songwriter Noah Smith’s band as a keyboardist and background vocalist.
Riggs is from Independence, Kentucky, where the midwest meets south, and the roots of American rock, pop, country and soul have jointly influenced her style. Riggs’ music is reminiscent of Sheryl Crow, early Liz Phair, Juliana Hatfield and The Bangles. Aided and abetted by Cincinnati based co-writer, guitarist and producer, Brian Lovely, 24 year old Riggs continues to explore the origins of her influences in the singer-songwriters and classic power pop of the sixties and early seventies.
