Hi! I'm Cat Sabin. Welcome to my page and thanks for wanting to know more about my music! I compose and perform original tunes in what can best be described as the Americana genre. I am classically trained and have spent some time in musical theater, as well as in classical choral music, but the core of my heart has always been captivated by Folk music.

Some artists who have inspired me include Ani DiFranco, Kate Wolf, Carsie Blanton, Melissa Ferrik, Iris DeMent, Joan Baez, Nancy Griffith, Patsy Cline, Emmylou Harris, & Alison Krauss, as well as John Prine & Johnny Cash. 

I am a Survivor of traumatic abuse, and many of my songs speak from those life experiences. 

I hope my music gives to you what you need from it, at whatever point you are in life, when you listen to it. I am grateful to be able to make this music, and even more grateful to share it with you.
