Latchkey Kids were forged in New Brunswick, NJ, playing the same dirty basements that made so many
punk legends. Hanny, Joey, and Cyle are three friends who bonded over their love of The Menzingers
and Pinegrove. As second- generation immigrants, Hanny and Joey have a POV that gets to the
American experience of assimilation and alienation, as well as growing up and breaking up, love, and
loss. After playing 100 shows in 6 months to support their record "The Week You Ran Away" , they
hunkered down at Headroom Studios in Philadelphia with Kyle Pulley (Jay Som, Alex G, Dr. Dog, Hop
Along) to create their new record Year of Summers, which will be released April of 2026.
